Mr. Carpenter is the President and CEO of FRONTEO. He is an industry veteran with strong executive leadership experience who will use his deep domain expertise to help advance the strategic and operational objectives of FRONTEO.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Carpenter has assisted global clients in managing data intelligently while enabling the efficient resolution of complex legal, compliance and governance matters. Mr. Carpenter has repeatedly established himself as a partner to clients, thought leader and innovator in the legal technology and eDiscovery industries.
Most recently, Mr. Carpenter was the SVP of Sales for Kroll Ontrack, where the company’s strong revenue and EBITDA growth under his stewardship helped lead to its successful acquisition in 2016 by the Carlyle Group, one of the largest private equity firms in the world. Before joining Kroll Ontrack, Craig served as President, Chief Operating Officer and CMO at AccessData, a leading cyber security, forensics and eDiscovery provider. In these roles, Mr. Carpenter worked with clients to deliver a comprehensive approach to advanced threat defense and cyber intelligence, leading to the cyber security unit’s successful sale in 2015. Prior to AccessData, Mr. Carpenter was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and General Counsel at Recommind, spearheading the eDiscovery industry’s “predictive coding” movement and helping the company grow from 35 employees to 500 before the company’s ultimate acquisition by Open Text in 2016.
Mr. Novelly serves as FRONTEO USA’s Chief Financial Officer and joins FRONTEO as a seasoned senior financial executive with Big 4 Public Accounting and Fortune 50 experience in Media & Technology industry. He brings expertise in managing strategic and operational finance for domestic and multi-national public companies with $150M to $47B in annual revenue, building high performing finance teams, driving profitability and implementing system integration and process redesign. Mr. Novelly possesses a strong track record of overseeing over 15 M&A transactions and meeting or exceeding guidance estimates, having completed 50 quarterly earnings release. Mr. Novelly will focus on applying his strong business acumen and expertise in finance to assist FRONTEO achieve its strategic and operational goals.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Novelly was the CFO of Gracenote, Inc., a subsidiary of Tribune Media. At Gracenote, Mr. Novelly was hired to integrate and scale four technology companies acquired in 2014, rebuild the worldwide finance function and move into new international markets organically and through additional acquisitions for this leading distributor of video, music and sports metadata with clients including Apple, Yahoo!, Tesla and Comcast. Prior to Gracenote, Mr. Novelly served in executive and senior VP finance roles at Delivery Agent, Dolby and Time Warner.
Mr. Sanchez is responsible for all infrastructure and security technology strategy as well as systems engineering and development. Mr. Sanchez focuses his efforts on technology solutions for delivery, development, collocation facilities and data center operations. Mr. Sanchez leverages his rich background of business strategy, information systems and systems engineering. Prior to joining FRONTEO USA and Evolve Discovery, Mr. Sanchez served as the Director of IT Infrastructure at Extreme Networks. Mr. Sanchez led the planning, procurement and ongoing support of Extreme Networks’ network infrastructure and related services, supporting more than 1,200 employees across 60 countries.
Mr. Wilner serves as Chief Operating Officer of FRONTEO USA. He is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and overall management of the company as well as helping to set the strategy for FRONTEO USA’s growth and expansion. With more than 250 employees and 15 offices around the world, he is not only well versed in legal technology but also in financial management to drive bottom line profit while continuing to grow top line revenue. He is a seasoned technology expert, with more than 15 years of experience. In 2003, he founded Rhino Imaging, LLC, a New York-based technology support and document management company that merged with Evolve Discovery in 2012. Evolve was later acquired by FRONTEO USA’s parent company, Tokyo-based FRONTEO (formerly known as UBIC). Prior to establishing Rhino Imaging, Mr. Wilner managed production, project management and sales for a litigation support company. He earned a B.S. in Economics from Colorado State University and a Certificate in Computer Programming from Pace University.
Mr. Glick has been a creative force for implementing workflow processes and strategic planning, providing effective solutions for client challenges. For over 25 years, his leadership has effectively reduced costs while improving the service delivery standards. Client satisfaction is paramount and elevating the client experience is an integral component of Mr. Glick’s raison d’être. As a pioneer in eDiscovery, he has utilized his knowledge of legal process and principles in conjunction with his technological competence, synthesizing the intersection between law and technology. The combination has enabled him to consistently implement solutions achieving client goals, adding value and providing comprehensive leadership throughout the EDRM spectrum.
He has been principally responsible for the relationship and management of major complex litigation in IP, toxic tort, banking, defense, construction defect, employment, products liability, investigations, bankruptcy and class action cases. Mr. Glick consults with law firms and corporate legal departments employing best practices in the formation and execution of their discovery plans. He has been instrumental in negotiating discovery stipulations within the Rule 26(f) meet and confer process. He has pioneered creative solutions for data minimization as well as database design and implementation to maximize case management efficiencies. Mr. Glick helps clients establish rational work flows to manage the preservation, acquisition, analysis, review, production and presentation of evidence.
Ms. Fejerang, is a Senior Vice President responsible for FRONTEO USA’s business development for the Western Region and oversees large-scale engagements with Fortune 500 firms, notably Visa and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. With over a decade of litigation support experience, Ms. Fejerang has taken on numerous large-scope litigations covering Intellectual Property, Anti-trust, and SEC investigations. Ms. Fejerang has spent the past 16 years building FRONTEO USA and Evolve Discovery’s sales and channel programs with AMLaw 100 law firms and Fortune 500 corporations.
Mr. Thompson is responsible for FRONTEO USA’s strategic growth and business development for the South and Western Region. In 2005, he founded OnTarget Litigation Solutions, an Arizona based electronic discovery and document management company, and joined the FRONTEO team in 2010.
With over a decade of litigation support experience, he consults on innovative solutions for Fortune 500 Companies and AMLaw100 law firms to help develop and execute enterprise-wide technology driven document management solutions. Mr. Thompson has designed and implemented litigation readiness and full matter management programs for a number of Fortune 500 companies.
His continuous assistance with clients on complex litigation matters covers many practice areas including Intellectual Property, Anti-Trust, Environmental, and SEC/DOJ Investigations. Mr. Thompson has a passion for building result-oriented teams with a tenacious commitment to client retention and satisfaction.
Mr. Ciaramitaro has extensive experience in managing large and complex cases involving data preservation and Forensic analysis. He has 14 years’ experience in electronic discovery and computer forensic support. He provides consultation to FRONTEO USA’s clients on the Identification, Preservation, and Collection phases of the EDRM model. Moreover, he is an expert in Computer Forensics as well as data mapping, data preserving, and analyzing ESI. He has worked closely in assisting attorneys with planning discovery requests, deposition questions, expert testimony and data collection strategies from most data repositories.
Mr. Ciaramitaro leads a team of FRONTEO examiners nationwide and has been integral in helping his clients obtain TRO’s, favorable evidentiary hearing ruling and settlements through his consultation and explanation of computer investigation findings. Mr. Ciaramitaro has a strong knowledge of Computer Forensic Methodology and Evidence Handling Procedures with extensive formal classroom training, certification in Computer Forensic and Electronic Discovery and thousands of hours of field experience. He is an expert in PC hardware and software across both Windows and Linux operating systems, and has a track record for managing concurrent projects on schedule and within budget. In recent years Mr. Ciaramitaro and his team of Senior level examiners have lead the trend in remote, defensible and cost effective preservation of data from Computers, Cloud Storage and Server based Structured Databases.
Mr. Ciaramitaro has been a keynote speaker for electronic discovery groups on many occupations and often presents to AM Law 100 and Fortune 500 organizations on Data collection, litigation readiness, Tips and Tricks to Data Mapping and other eDiscovery and Computer Forensic topics. He has recently been published.
Mr. Dilgren joined FRONTEO USA (formerly known as Evolve Discovery) in 2010 to found the Data Science & Strategy consultancy. He is a frequent and recognized industry speaker and a Relativity Assisted Review certified specialist. Mr. Dilgren oversees the development of custom solutions. He and his group consult on the application of advanced analytics including predictive coding and workflow design.
Before joining FRONTEO USA and Evolve Discovery, Mr. Dilgren spent five years in counsel with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers where he managed a diverse portfolio of legal matters focusing primarily on Federal infrastructure construction and wetlands restoration projects. He received the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Civilian Service for his contributions in 2009. Mr. Dilgren worked for the Department of Justice, Civil Division. Mr. Dilgren graduated from U.C. Hastings College of Law with a J.D. in 2006. He was a member of Hastings Communication and Entertainment Law Journal and an award-winning moot court participant and coach.
Ms. DeRobles is seasoned human resources leader with 20 years of experience in strategic and operational human resources management. She has consistently been successful in forming partnerships with senior executives to develop and execute growth and operational strategies, while aligning her strong understanding of core human resources disciplines and business acumen.
Prior to FRONTEO USA, Ms. DeRobles spent 10 years in the financial services electronic bond trading industry as Managing Director of Human Resources at BondDesk Group. At BondDesk, she built a highly effective human resources department, helped grow the company, and led the M&A HR due diligence through two major acquisitions by Advent International and Tradeweb Markets. She has also successfully managed the human resources function in an internet start-up company delivering enterprise networks and gateway connectivity in the US and Europe, real estate development as well as in two of the most renowned organizations in science and the arts, the Exploratorium and SF Art Institute.
Mr. Dizon oversees complex eDiscovery projects and Project Management teams for FRONTEO. Mr. Dizon draws his experience from AmLaw 100 firms, in house with ConocoPhillips’ Business Legal division and VP of Project Management with Servient. Within the eDiscovery space, Mr. Dizon has first hand experience with all phases of the EDRM model. Mr. Dizon’s knowledge spans from conducting corporate data collections stateside as well as oversees (Germany and Brussels), overseeing processing centers in India as well as managing a multitude of projects utilizing Technology Assisted Review. Mr. Dizon directly managed high profile projects such as the Virginia Tech shooting, Supreme Court cases and second requests. Through process improvements and evaluations, Mr. Dizon leads by example in maintaining a high level of client service for Project Management teams globally. Mr. Dizon holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Chi oversees complex engagements and provides consultation to FRONTEO USA’s clients on every phase of electronic discovery including data preservation, collections, early case assessment, hosting, review and productions. Mr. Chi works with clients to plan and execute e-discovery projects while leveraging automation technologies in a defensible and cost-effective manner. Before joining FRONTEO USA and Evolve Discovery, he managed a national team of electronic discovery technical consultants and project managers at Latham & Watkins, and played an integral part in the group’s creation and strategic direction.
Mr. Chi has extensive experience consulting with AMLaw 100 Firms and Fortune 100 clients on every phase of electronic discovery across a variety of litigation focuses from regulatory matters to patent litigation, and on multi-jurisdictional cases spanning the domestic U.S., Europe and Asia. In his previous career, Mr. Chi managed technology departments for engineering companies and law firms, as well as supporting attorneys as a litigation paralegal and trial technician.
As National Director of Managed Review at FRONTEO, Mr. Fluss oversees all aspects of the Managed Review services. He has successfully integrated technology assisted review tools, traditional keyword searching, top talent and processes into the document review staffing model to push forward an industry-best managed review services offering. Drawing on his decade-plus worth of experience in eDiscovery and document review, Mr. Fluss was responsible for designing review protocols and working with review managers that have resulted in client savings in excess of several million dollars. Also, by leveraging technology he has implemented quality control processes for clients that have increased accuracy and decreased omissions during the review process.
Additionally, Mr. Fluss is responsible for successfully implementing and managing internal controls to help with the overall day-to-day management of the company, including recruiting, billing, invoicing and facilities activities. Given the importance of human resources, he has also successfully implemented programs designed to identify and retain top talent to ensure top
level expertise on all projects.
Prior to the FRONTEO acquisition in November 2016, Mr. Fluss was the National Managing Director for Essential Discovery, Inc. (“EDI”). He was the driving force that helped EDI increase total revenue by five times the previous annual average. Mr. Fluss has acted in a Review Manager capacity on multiple litigations for numerous Am Law 100 law firms, bringing to the table deep expertise and understanding in eDiscovery.
Mr. Moore has directed projects and reviews which have been in excess of 50 million pages and 20+ Terabytes with multiple parties involved. Mr. Moore has excellent leadership skills, developed as a Project Manager at a leading national litigation support and EDD vendor. He is experienced with leading EDD technologies and capabilities and has worked to develop a strong Project Management team under his direction. Mr. Moore is also experienced with both linear and non-linear EDD review models. Mr. Moore played a critical role in internal EDD software development and testing. Mr. Moore is experienced in Relativity, Summation, Concordance, and iPro software as well as in PST/NSF/ PDF productions and their requirements. Mr. Moore worked closely with associates and partners at several Top AMLaw law firms in consulting and directing their online review.
Ms. Maly serves is Vice President of Discovery Services at FRONTEO USA. She joined FRONTEO USA and Evolve Discovery after practicing at Cooley Manion Jones LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where she managed and supported general civil litigation matters. Her experience largely involved representing corporate clients primarily in commercial business litigation, labor & employment, and products liability matters. She also served as national counsel for a large manufacturing company, managing local counsel in multiple jurisdictions, supervising over 38,000 cases nationwide. Ms. Maly passed the July 2009 California Bar Exam and is licensed to practice law in all California state courts, as well as before the United States District Court, Northern District of California and United States District Court, Central District of California.
Ms. Maly is responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives. She provides senior management with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation, managing the legal and compliance functions. She also oversees engagements, providing discovery consulting to ensure projects are managed effectively and in a legally defensible manner.
Ms. Young is a leader in FRONTEO USA’s Engagement Management group. She has over 20 years of business technology experience and has been working in electronic discovery for 12 years. Ms. Young is a nationally recognized eDiscovery consultant and expert, and was one of only three recognized Relativity Independent Consultants in the worldwide marketplace. As a Relativity Certified Administrator, she takes a hands on approach with her internal teams and external clients to ensure efficient processes and workflows are followed and remain defensible. She is an expert in the implementation of Analytics and Predictive Coding.
Ms. Young is solutions oriented and client focused. Ms. Young works as a client advocate leading complex eDiscovery matters and has extensive experience in managing operational teams, project managers and in consulting on blending eDiscovery Best Practices in with the appropriate technology.
Lacelle Porter is an accomplished litigation technology management professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in the Legal industry. He has designed, implemented and managed litigation support, trial support, and eDiscovery business units for law firms and service providers.
As FRONTEO’s Engagement Manager for the Washington, DC region, Mr. Porter oversees complex eDiscovery projects from case inception to data disposition and has oversight and governance responsibility across the project team. As well, he ensures the project goals are measured and met, the process is clear and streamlined, and the clients are providing feedback and are ultimately satisfied.
Across the ecosystem, Mr. Porter works closely with FRONTEO corporate clients, eDiscovery counsel and litigation departments to establish and implement defensible, repeatable case management strategies and best practices in all phases of eDiscovery. Mr. Porter has extensive experience in legal project management, process management, software implementation and training, and team development.
Prior to joining FRONTEO, Mr. Porter co-managed the Discovery Services department at Reed Smith LLP., and served as the Global Litigation Support Manager at Dewey & LeBouef.
As Vice President of Discovery Services at FRONTEO USA, Ms. Yang brings significant e-discovery experience and expertise to her clients in advising on the full discovery lifecycle. Her depth and breadth of knowledge on both the technical and legal aspects of e-discovery enables her to successfully lead cases and provide exceptional client service using a multi-faceted approach that not only meets immediate client needs but also considers future ramifications through forward thinking strategies. Her wide range of experience spans myriad industries, including pharmaceutical, financial, industrial, consumer products, technology, among others, in both the domestic and international sectors. As a subject matter expert, she ensures the success of every matter for each of her clients by overseeing all aspects of engagements from inception to post-mortem analysis. Additionally, in her capacity as Associate General Counsel, Ms. Yang works to reduce risk and ensure compliance within the organization.
Prior to joining FRONTEO, Ms. Yang led the Washington, DC office of Paul Hastings and oversaw review management on a national level. Before that, she led the Washington, DC office of Clutch Group as the Senior Director, where she worked extensively with international clients.
Mr. MacGregor oversees FRONTEO’s European operations. In this capacity he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the London office and oversees project management, product delivery and business development within the UK and across Europe. Prior to joining FRONTEO, MacGregor worked for a large professional services organisation where he specialised in the development of relationships with large multinational businesses operating in the New York and London markets. MacGregor is also the founder of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS) UK chapter, the first chapter founded outside of the US. With a background in both the US eDiscovery space and the UK eDisclosure sphere, MacGregor’s focus is on large multi-jurisdictional matters where he counsels clients on how best to navigate the different legal, cultural and technological hurdles that arise in cross-border cases.
