Mr. Yutaka Okura is Chief Executive Officer of FRONTEO USA, Inc. He joined FRONTEO in 2019, bringing his more than 20 years of international sales, strategy and operations expertise, and executive management experience in leading tech business organizations to his role with the company. Mr. Okura has proven cross-functional management record to develop and implement business plans while driving day-to-day operations on the ground, both in traditional and start-up environment across the globe.
As the CEO of FRONTEO USA, Mr. Okura manages the company’s strategic direction and its performance, and is expected to bring thought leadership, operational excellence, multi-cultural and people skills needed for success in a fast-paced, AI-driven LegalTech business.
Prior to joining FRONTEO, Mr. Okura held senior leadership positions at various global companies including Square Enix (US HQ in Los Angeles and UK), Google (US HQ in Mountain View and Japan), and Sony (Japan HQ, France, US and Venezuela).
Mr. Okura holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Tokyo.
Mr. Uesugi serves as FRONTEO USA’s Chief Financial Officer, and is responsible for all the financial related operations and strategy as well as supporting business transformation.
He joined Asahi & Co. (now KPMG Azsa LLC), where he provided consulting services relating to financial auditing, M&A, and corporate reconstruction. He then joined Sanyo North America Corporation where he served as CFO and Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (US subsidiary of Konami Japan) where he held the positions of Executive Vice President of Corporate and President. He has engaged in business improvement and structural reforms related to accounting and corporate functions in both United States and Japan.
In August 2017, Mr. Uesugi joined FRONTEO. In his capacity as CFO, he supervises various departments, including the finance department, human resources department, information systems department, and the legal department, while supporting business development of the company.
Mr. Uesugi holds qualifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of Japan and Real Estate Appraiser of Japan.
Mr. Sanchez is responsible for all infrastructure and security technology strategy as well as systems engineering and development. Mr. Sanchez focuses his efforts on technology solutions for delivery, development, collocation facilities and data center operations. Mr. Sanchez leverages his rich background of business strategy, information systems and systems engineering. Prior to joining FRONTEO USA and Evolve Discovery, Mr. Sanchez served as the Director of IT Infrastructure at Extreme Networks. Mr. Sanchez led the planning, procurement and ongoing support of Extreme Networks’ network infrastructure and related services, supporting more than 1,200 employees across 60 countries.
Mr. Dizon oversees complex eDiscovery projects and Project Management teams for FRONTEO. Mr. Dizon draws his experience from AmLaw 100 firms, in house with ConocoPhillips’ Business Legal division and VP of Project Management with Servient. Within the eDiscovery space, Mr. Dizon has first hand experience with all phases of the EDRM model. Mr. Dizon’s knowledge spans from conducting corporate data collections stateside as well as oversees (Germany and Brussels), overseeing processing centers in India as well as managing a multitude of projects utilizing Technology Assisted Review. Mr. Dizon directly managed high profile projects such as the Virginia Tech shooting, Supreme Court cases and second requests. Through process improvements and evaluations, Mr. Dizon leads by example in maintaining a high level of client service for Project Management teams globally. Mr. Dizon holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Ms. DeRobles is seasoned human resources leader with 20 years of experience in strategic and operational human resources management. She has consistently been successful in forming partnerships with senior executives to develop and execute growth and operational strategies, while aligning her strong understanding of core human resources disciplines and business acumen.
Prior to FRONTEO USA, Ms. DeRobles spent 10 years in the financial services electronic bond trading industry as Managing Director of Human Resources at BondDesk Group. At BondDesk, she built a highly effective human resources department, helped grow the company, and led the M&A HR due diligence through two major acquisitions by Advent International and Tradeweb Markets. She has also successfully managed the human resources function in an internet start-up company delivering enterprise networks and gateway connectivity in the US and Europe, real estate development as well as in two of the most renowned organizations in science and the arts, the Exploratorium and SF Art Institute.
As National Director of Managed Review at FRONTEO, Mr. Fluss oversees all aspects of the Managed Review services. He has successfully integrated technology assisted review tools, traditional keyword searching, top talent and processes into the document review staffing model to push forward an industry-best managed review services offering. Drawing on his decade-plus worth of experience in eDiscovery and document review, Mr. Fluss was responsible for designing review protocols and working with review managers that have resulted in client savings in excess of several million dollars. Also, by leveraging technology he has implemented quality control processes for clients that have increased accuracy and decreased omissions during the review process.
Additionally, Mr. Fluss is responsible for successfully implementing and managing internal controls to help with the overall day-to-day management of the company, including recruiting, billing, invoicing and facilities activities. Given the importance of human resources, he has also successfully implemented programs designed to identify and retain top talent to ensure top
level expertise on all projects.
Prior to the FRONTEO acquisition in November 2016, Mr. Fluss was the National Managing Director for Essential Discovery, Inc. (“EDI”). He was the driving force that helped EDI increase total revenue by five times the previous annual average. Mr. Fluss has acted in a Review Manager capacity on multiple litigations for numerous Am Law 100 law firms, bringing to the table deep expertise and understanding in eDiscovery.
Mr. Fragen is an experienced leader who brings strong background in building high performing sales teams across multiple industries, including Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), Telecommunications, and Marketing. With a great depth of knowledge in sales strategy, sales process, new logo attainment, and development of human capital, Mr. Fragen brings to FRONTEO a successful track record in entrepreneurial leadership with strong strategic planning experience in sales growth while effectively engaging, aligning and mobilizing sales teams to action.
Prior FRONTEO USA, Mr. Fragen served as Senior Area Sales Director at EPIQ for 5 years, then becoming a Senior Director, Global Accounts at EPIQ. In those roles, Mr. Fragen served as a sales team leader covering a large Midwest region that successfully managed domestic and global accounts ranging from law firms to multi-national corporations. Prior to EPIQ, he successfully served in various sales leadership roles at Altura Communication Solutions and other companies in telecommunications sector. Mr. Fragen also ran his own business for 10 years, an experience that brings forth his entrepreneurial acumen.
Ms. Reilly is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years of industry experience in legal services and solutions. She brings to FRONTEO a successful track record in leading sales teams as well as an extensive background in strategic planning with focus on exceeding sales goals, operational excellence and future growth. She joins FRONTEO USA as SVP, Sales, East Region.
Prior to joining FRONTEO USA, Ms. Reilly served as Director of Development at DTI before becoming a National Sales Manager at EPIQ. During her tenure at both companies, Ms. Reilly managed account sales teams with high profile national and global clients in the financial and manufacturing sectors, developing winning strategies to retain and close new business and mentor sales teams toward success. Prior to EPIQ/DTI, Ms. Reilly worked for Xerox as Solutions Manager, managing the Northeast region.
Mr. Moore has directed projects and reviews which have been in excess of 50 million pages and 20+ Terabytes with multiple parties involved. Mr. Moore has excellent leadership skills, developed as a Project Manager at a leading national litigation support and EDD vendor. He is experienced with leading EDD technologies and capabilities and has worked to develop a strong Project Management team under his direction. Mr. Moore is also experienced with both linear and non-linear EDD review models. Mr. Moore played a critical role in internal EDD software development and testing. Mr. Moore is experienced in Relativity, Summation, Concordance, and iPro software as well as in PST/NSF/ PDF productions and their requirements. Mr. Moore worked closely with associates and partners at several Top AMLaw law firms in consulting and directing their online review.
